Outbound Van Upgrades & Layout Guide

Your van is your base. Plan space, prioritize the right modules, and avoid expensive teardowns.

Module Priority (recommended)

  1. Storage Module S — first upgrade, always. More loot per trip.
  2. Basic Workbench — unlocks all other crafting.
  3. Cooking Station — converts raw food, extends food shelf life.
  4. Sleeping Quarters — required for time-skip / save in many survival games.
  5. Solar Panel + Battery — power stability before adding more modules.
  6. Planter Box — long-term renewable food.
  7. Storage Module L — late-game expansion.
  8. Refrigeration Unit — only after stable energy.

Maximum storage, basic crafting, minimal decoration. Best for biome scouting.
