The Mountain is the fourth and final biome in Outbound. It represents the ultimate challenge — freezing temperatures, steep terrain, and the rarest resources in the game. Snow blankets every surface, and visibility can drop during blizzards. This biome contains endgame content including the Mountain Peak (summit climb), a Hot Air Balloon station, developer Easter eggs, and the final Signal Tower. Only the most prepared players should attempt to explore this area fully. The highest point in the game. Reaching the summit unlocks the "Climb the Mountain" achievement. The path is treacherous — narrow ledges, ice patches, and low visibility. Bring warm clothing, extra food, and fully upgraded climbing gear.
