First, build the Wrench at your campfire. This is required before anything else.
🔓 Unlock: Basic crafting
Find Your First Signal Tower
Look for the tower with the green glow. This is your entry point.
📍 Location: East of your starting point
Unlock "Gardening" First
This is the PREREQUISITE for tower variants! Many players skip this and get stuck.
🔑 Required before: Tower variants
Choose Your Blueprint Wisely
After Gardening, you can unlock different tower designs:
- Mushroom (default) - Easiest to build
- Tree - Requires 2x Redwood
- Tower - Requires Metal Parts
❓ Common Questions
"Why do all towers look the same?"
You haven't unlocked the Gardening blueprint yet. Keep exploring and collecting scrap until you find the Gardening schematic.
"I'm stuck at 2 hours, nothing works!"
This is the most common issue. Check if you've completed the basic Wrench quest first. Without the Wrench, you can't interact with towers.
"What's the best tower type?"
It depends on your playstyle. Mushroom is easiest for beginners. Tree looks better but costs more resources. Tower provides the most range.
